Hello everyone!
As the year winds down, we have completed the roof sealing; the wall is now completed, and the handicapped painting on the drive is finished. Again, Thanks to all that helped out with these projects!
Upcoming events in January; the 4th is the 4th District Meeting here at the Post. I hope to see a good turnout of our members to show your support. The meal will be baked steak, mashed potatoes, green beans and salad.
Check your membership cards. As of January 1, 2024, you will not be served at the bar without a 2024 membership card. All bartenders will be carding you. Be proud to show them your card.
We are planning another Feather Party in February. Music will be by Shawn Richards.
March 2, 2024, we will honor all of our Legion Past Commanders, Auxiliary Past Presidents and S.A.L. Past Commanders. More on this in the next newsletter. Put this date on your calendar!
If you would like a military funeral or would like to participate as a member of the Honor Guard, please let Jim Long or myself know. We have lost a few members and need to get more volunteers.
