We have had a great start to 2024 and are looking to keep the momentum going.
If you have not renewed your membership for 2024,please contact Craig Connelly to get this paid, or stop by and see one of the Legion Bartenders. They will get you a receipt and give the payment and information to Craig. We are very close to 100% membership, so if you haven’t paid yet you could be the one that puts us at 100%. Bartenders will be checking everyone to verify you have your 2024 card.
We have several events coming up over the next couple months, and will need many volunteers. In March, we have the S.A.L. Steak Fry on the 8th, which will benefit the Veteran’s Headstone Project, Breakfast on the 17th (this will be the last S.A.L. breakfast until Fall.) We are hosting the Lakeland Baseball Steak Fry on March 23rd. In April we will have the S.A.L. Steak Fry on the 12th. On May 10, we will have our S.A.L. Steak Fry and this is will benefit CASA. Sunday, May 12, we will do a Mother’s Day Brunch from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Bring your Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, and wife out to the Legion and celebrate these wonderful ladies with a great brunch.
We would also like to see our fellow S.A.L. members attend our meetings which will be held the 4th Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m.
