Hello members!

We are finally approaching the warm season! With that, we will be having some great upcoming events! Please check our website, https://lagrangepost215.org for all information and our calendar. The Legion family has been working hard on booking extra entertainment each month. So PLEASE watch the calendar for Saturdays going forward! We will be having bands, karaoke, or musicians a couple times a month now. Some of these dates will be open to the public, and some will be for members and guests only. This will depend on how many events we host for the month, as we can only have a limited amount of open days with permits. We will be posting flyers and posting information on the Facebook pages and the website.

I want to give a “Shout-Out” to all the hard working volunteers we have. Your dedication keeps our Legion going so that we can keep hosting some of the best meals, entertainment, events,  fundraisers and donations in town for the veteran’s organizations that we all come together and passionately support. If you know a fellow member who can spare a little extra time once in a while, please talk to them about pitching in and volunteering for one of our events. It can be one day a month, one evening, one hour! Anything helps! Help us sign up more new members. ALL ages. Brag to them about the opportunity they are missing out on by not participating in the honorary work we do to support our veterans, our local Legion, our community, our little corner of the best  country in the world! For me personally, it is an HONOR and a PRIVILEGE to help with the events our Legion hosts. My grandfather served our country and was the ultimate hero in my life story. He was a Prisoner of War and was involved in the Devil’s Brigade. This is something I am proud to know about him, yet never having heard a single story about any of the time he spent during the war. If you have a hero in the family that served, gave up everything to help us maintain the freedom we all enjoy, then what better reason than that to volunteer? I know that I could not have ever been as brave as they all were and still are! For the rest of us, this is our pay-back. Please consider doing more for the wonderful organization we are a part of. Talk to your kids, grandkids, friends and family and let them know that it is not just a “bar for old people.” This is a group of people who come together to make a difference. We come together to support the brave people in our lives that sacrificed what many of us could never even imagine for the freedom of everyone in their country. We MUST honor them! So step up. Be the member who gives back. Spread the information about who we are as a membership club.

See you all soon! For God and Country!
