Fellow veterans,
The winter season is coming to an end. It was a mild winter compared to winters of the past years. Spring is just around the corner, which means the annual Easter Celebration is coming April 12. Remember, you have to register for this event and include the number of children and their ages. The kitchen will be closed from 1 until 4 on this day. Come down to the Legion for more information and updates on this event.
On a sad note, we lost the oldest member of our Post, Truman Miller, he was 101 years old and the last of our WWII veterans. May he rest in peace.
Don’t forget the chicken dinners every first and third Friday of each month and the fourth Friday we will alternate between broasted pork chops and fish. Watch the calendar for what is being served.
Again, Post 215 changes through the years like the family we are. We’ve had a tough couple of months, but together, as a family, we pulled through and will look forward to better times.
Watch the calendar for many upcoming events. Our meeting night is the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Please try to attend.
As with eggs, beer and alcohol prices are on the increase. Your opinion would be appreciated.
