Greetings fellow members,
As summer winds down, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support our dinners in July and August. Your continued participation makes each event special. August’s dinner was particularly memorable as we were treated to the talents of local star Shawn Richards, who provided an evening of fantastic entertainment that brought the house to life.
A very special thank you to everyone who assisted with planning, setting up, and working during our Legion Family Picnic. The teamwork and dedication of our Legion Family made the day a true success, filled with fellowship, food, and lasting memories. Didn’t forget to stir the beans!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27th as we host a Cancer Benefit for Little Miss Katy McGrath. Come hungry and enjoy a great meal, try your luck with some fun games of chance, and, of course, don’t miss out on the illustrious Booze Wag-on, which promises to be a crowd favorite once again. Every dollar raised helps make a difference for Katy and her family as she battles childhood cancer.
Finally, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank all of the volunteers within the Sons of the American Legion. Your tireless efforts, big or small, are what keep our events running smoothly and our mission moving forward. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
