As we reflect on the busy Christmas season, it is hard to believe that we are already welcoming 2026! The Legion was bustling with activity, and none of it would have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our wonderful volunteers. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time, energy, and support during such a busy and joyful season. Your efforts truly made a difference and are greatly appreciated. We are always looking for more volunteers. If you would like to join us, just let us know.
Our next Ladies Auxiliary meeting will be held on January 26th at 6:00 PM. After the meeting, we will be taking a group photo in front of the beautiful flag sign in the dining room, waving flags for the Flag Photo Contest—so be sure to join us and be photo-ready! Wear an Auxiliary shirt if you have one!
A special thank you goes out to Shirley Helmuth and Cindy Devine for moving all of our belongings, and to Ben and Jamie Parrish and Dave Atwater for helping move the big items. Thanks to their hard work, we are now settled into the Color Guard room.
Looking ahead, we have some exciting upcoming events: Cocktails & Canvas on January 18th at 2PM. The cost is $30, and it promises to be a fun and creative afternoon. Our annual Chili & Soup Cook-Off benefitting our Medical Scholarship Fund will take place on March 8th from 1-3PM. Mark your calendars and start planning your best recipes!
