In November, we held our monthly Steak Fry, featuring live music from the Hubie Ashcraft Band. The food was excellent, the music was outstanding, and the fellowship was even better. If you missed it, you truly missed out on a great evening. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this event possible, from setup to cleanup. Thanks to your support and the strong turnout, we were able to raise funds to help our brother and Past SAL Commander, Kyle Olinger.
For December, we decided to change things up and hosted a Spaghetti and Chicken Alfredo Dinner. The response was fantastic, with around 60 people coming out to enjoy a delicious meal and good company. Once again, if you didn’t attend, you missed a great dinner. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event and to those who volunteered their me to help prepare and serve the meal.
Coming in January…We’re kicking off the new year by going back to steak night! Join us on January 9, 2025, for another great Steak Fry, with Shawn Richards providing the entertainment for the evening. Mark your calendars now—you won’t want to miss this one.
As we celebrate the Christmas season and welcome the New Year, the Sons of the American Legion would like to extend our sincere thanks to our members, families, and supporters. Your dedication, volunteer hours, and continued support make everything we do possible. We wish you and your families a Merry Christmas, a safe and joyful holiday season, and a Happy New Year filled with health, happiness, and continued camaraderie.
