Hello Legion Family,

As we begin to look forward to warmer days and the arrival of spring, I want to take a moment to reflect on some of the wonderful activities
our Auxiliary has been doing and share what’s coming up next.

In January, we had a fantastic Cocktails & Canvas where participants painted snowman pictures. Fun was truly had by all! After painting
was complete, we displayed the artwork and held a friendly contest. Attendees voted for their favorite piece by money vote.. I’m happy to
announce that Julie Byler was our winner! All funds from the contest benefit the Legion Creative Arts Program. A special thanks to Erin
Zinkie for coordinating the paint class and making it a success.

We’re excited to announce our next Cocktails & Canvas event on April 12th at 2pm. This time we will be painting beautiful poppy pictures. The cost is $25 per person. Be sure to sign up at the bar-spots fill quickly and we would love to see you there!

Our meetings have been filled with great discussions and lots of fun ideas for the months ahead. I encourage all members to join us 4th Tuesday of each month at 6pm. You input and involvement make a difference and we would love to see you there.

Mark your calendars for our Annual Chili and Soup Cook-Off on March 15th at 1pm. This event benefits our scholarship programs. Numerous
chances to win some great prizes. Come out, sample delicious entries and support a great cause!

Easter is just around the corner and we are hosting our Annual Community Easter Party and Egg Hunt on March 29th at 1 pm. This is a Legion-wide event and we will need lots of helping hands to make it a success. Please consider volunteering your time.

Don’t forget we continue to serve our Burger Bar on the 1st Wed of each month during Trivia Night. It always a great evening!

We are also working to update our members contact information. Please take a moment to call or email me so we can ensure our records are current. You can reach me at 260-367-1778 or at 4dawnmiller@gamil.com.

Thank you for your continued support of our Auxiliary Unit. Together we are building a strong and active community. I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!

Dawn Miller, Auxiliary President
